Loveisa Woody, age 46, of Stonewood Drive in Spruce Pine, the Estatoe community, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Blue Ridge Regional hospital in Spruce Pine.
Born on December 17, 1975 in Avery County, she was the daughter of Sidney and Deborah Ogle Henson. She was preceded in death by a sister; Heather Allen.
Loveisa was loved by everyone that knew her and she was the life of any family get together. She enjoyed decorating for all holidays, particularly Christmas. Her most joyous times were being with her family during the holidays. She was an animal lover and enjoyed her pets. She also enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
Left to cherish her memory is her parents; Sidney and Deborah Henson of Spruce Pine; David Stamey of Spruce Pine who was her soul mate and caregiver; her maternal grandparents; Robert and Georgia Ogle of Spruce Pine; her sisters; Melanie Wright and husband, Rick of Greensboro; Melissa Cope of Burnsville; Janet Powell of Moss, TN; and Melanie Henson of Tijuana, Mexico; her brothers; Jason Ogle of Hickory; Matthew Henson of Spruce Pine and Jesse Craig of Hickory; her uncles; Michael Ogle and wife, Janis of Spruce Pine and Kenny Ogle of Spruce Pine; several nieces and nephews.
A time to support the family, share memories, and receive friends will be on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with Dr. Marcus Benfield officiating. Interment will be in the McKinney Gap Cemetery.
