The Yancey County Sheriff’s Office has issued a BOLO, or Be On The Lookout, for a white male and white female subject traveling on foot in the area of Plum Branch and Shoal Creek Road. Authorities ask that if you see the suspects that you not approach them but instead call 911. There was a chase this morning in the Micaville area that led to Yancey County school buses being held on the roads until Superintendent Kathy Amos received clearance from the Yancey Sheriff’s office. All students are at their schools and school campuses are being monitored.
