Bobby Lee Byrd, Jr., age 40, of Woodsong Drive in Old Fort, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
Born on April 5, 1981 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Bobby Lee Byrd, Sr., and Sherry Norman Byrd who still survives.
Bobby was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved his wife, children, family, and friends very dearly. He really enjoyed making people laugh. He took great pride in each egg that his chicken hatched and being on his farm.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Sarah Tilson Byrd of Old Fort; his step children; Austin and Jada; his mother; Sherry Norman Byrd of Spruce Pine; his brother; David Byrd and wife, Melinda of Spruce Pine; his cousin; Shawna Kneen and husband, Brandon and their children; and a host of friends.
A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home.
