Lillie Virginia “Jink” Harrison, age 88, of the White Oak community received the ultimate gift this Christmas by joining her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
There waiting and rejoicing her arrival were her parents, Herbert and Velma Gouge; her loving husband, Charles Harrison; her beloved siblings: Evelyn Biddix, Merlo Gouge and Bobby Gouge; a son-in-law, Gary Creech.
Left here to cherish her memory are her children: Veronica Creech and Jerome Harrison; two sisters, Genevieve Autrey and Ila Marie Ledford; four grandchildren: Venita (Steve) Wyatt, Michelle Hicks of Burnsville, Gary (Shannon) Creech Jr., and Becky (Mike) Fussell of Marion, NC. She also has a special “granddaughter”, Tanja (Donald) Blevins of Burnsville; great-grandchildren: Sarah (Robert) Rhudy, Emma (David) Presley, Bryson Hicks, Evan McMahan, Brenna Hicks, Hailey Creech, and Elijah Creech; and a multitude of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She also has many friends and family, for anyone she met, she always accepted and loved.
Private family services will be held in the Autrey Cemetery at South Estatoe Baptist Church. Reverends Charles Carroll and Earl McPeters will officiate. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
