June Townly Liles, age 85, of the Bald Mountain Community, went home with the Lord on Saturday, January 1st, 2022 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital.
A native of Norwich, Norfolk England, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Lilly Townly. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Liles, and a sister, Joyce Townly.
June was a member of Cane River Baptist Church and lived with a very strong faith. She was a devoted mother to her kids and adored all of her family.
Surviving is her daughters: Sonia Bethea and husband, Keith, of Indianapolis, IN, Penny Rose and husband, Randy, of Burnsville, and Donna Helms of Marion; a son, John Liles and wife, Linda, of Charlotte; grandchildren: Christopher, Nathan, Andrew and Donald; great-granddaughter, Alice. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
