Robema Penland Ledford, age 93, of Burnsville, passed away at her home Monday, January 3rd, 2022.
A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Walser and Essie Penland. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna Ray; and brother, Brooks Penland.
Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband, Porter Ledford, of the home; two sons, Randy and Larry Ledford, both of Burnsville; daughter, Brenda (Darren) Honeycutt; sister, Shelby Jean Fox of Burnsville; and grandson, Cody (Cecilia) Honeycutt.
Private Family Services will be held in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Reverend Blair Harvey will officiate. Burial will follow at Academy Hill Cemetery in Burnsville.
