Madison County Schools Superintended Dr. Will Hoffman announced Tuesday evening, January 25th that Madison High School principal Dr. David Robinson had passed away suddenly at the age of 54. A message posted on the school district’s Facebook page announced the news, saying Dr. Robinson had been a blessing to all who knew him. “David was a lifelong Madison Patriot, a strong educator, a musician and artist, and a friend… There are no words that can adequately describe how shocked and devastated we are by this loss today,” Dr. Hoffman’s post on social media read. “The only consolation is knowing that Dr. Robinson did a lot of good with the time that he was given, and although way too short, we are all truly blessed by the time we had with him.” Hoffman said more information on Robinson’s funeral arrangements will be announced this week.
