Junior started a business for himself in commercial painting and made a successful career. He was a father who loved fishing, playing ball, and hunting with his son. Junior was a big Green Bay Packers fan and he never missed one of his son’s ball games.
A well-loved man, Junior enjoyed meeting new people from every walk of life while keeping old friendships from childhood. One of his biggest talents and passions in life was making others smile and laugh. He loved to keep the room alive no matter where he went and always wanted to have a good time. Junior had a big heart for helping others and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He will be greatly miss by his family and many friends.
Left to cherish is memories are his son; Jerry Burleson and wife Lyndsie of Newland, grandchildren; Trey, Anthony, Destiny and Barrett and a sister; Barbara Green and husband Harold. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
