The Toe River Health District released their weekly report of COVID activity in Mitchell, Yancey and Avery County.
The report showed Mitchell County with 178 new positives, Avery County with 234 and Yancey County 220 new positives. As of the release of the report there were 65 active cases being monitored by the Health District in Mitchell County, 58 in Avery and 63 in Yancey County.
