Kimberly Driggers Wilson, age 54, of the Double Island Community, passed away on March 1, 2022 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Volusia, FL, she was a daughter of the late Wilson Driggers, Jr and Pamela Hutter Driggers. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Fiona Joyce Wilson and sister-in-law, Sherry Wilson.
Kimberly’s children will always remember their mother as the one who got them through all the good and the bad. She was a one of a kind mom who was selfless and loved her kids fiercely. She and their father shared a love and a marriage that was truly amazing. Kimberly was a true one of a kind wife, mother and Gaga who changed the world for the better and will be truly missed. “Every Step I Take, Every Move I Make, I’ll Be Missing You.”
Surviving is her loving husband of almost 35 years, Darrell Wilson; daughters: Victoria Wilson, Katelyn Newberry (Casey) and Bella Wilson all of Green Mountain; son, Jared Wilson (Cynthia) of Spruce Pine; grandchildren: Hayden and Wyatt; brother, Kyle Driggers of Raleigh and brother-in-law, Mark Wilson (Jeni) of Guyton, GA.
