Max Edward Allen, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late James Gotch Allen and Maefrie Boone Allen. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Beth Creasman (July 20, 2012) and two brothers: Andrew Allen and Lenny Allen.
Surviving are four brothers: James Allen of Charleston, SC, Lloyd Avon Allen of Burnsville and wife, Imajean Ray Allen, Tilson Allen of Lancaster, KY, and Eugene Allen of Barnardsville and one sister, Linda Allen Huntley of Asheville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Max worked as an electrician most of his life. He was a compassionate and loving person. He had a grateful heart and appreciated the little things in life. Max and his wife, Linda, had a deep love for animals and nature.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Barnardsville at the Allen Family Cemetery.
