Jamie Edwards, age 44, of Erwin,TN went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 10th, 2022 at Unicoi County Hospital. A native of Carter County, TN he was a son of James “Doug” Edwards of Erwin, TN and the late Nancy Scott George. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Lydia Edwards. Jamie always had a smile on his face and was eager to put a smile on everyone’s face he came in contact with. His fun loving, selfless spirit can forever be found on every back road. Jamie was genuinely true to his family and friends and carried deep morals.
Surviving is his daughter, Sabrina Ingram and husband, Austin, of Kingsport, TN; son, Logan Edwards of Erwin, TN; grandchildren: Mason and EmmaLee Ingram; sisters: Diane Hartness and husband, Bradley, of Taylorsville and Sandra Butts and husband, David, of Lampasas, TX; special aunts and uncles: Dorsey Edwards and Mike and Burdella Edwards; his girlfriend, Lisa King of Erwin, TN; his dog, Buddy and special friends: Stanley Barnett and Shanna Bush both of Erwin, TN. Several other special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 15th at the Fish Hatchery at 520 Federal Hatchery Road, Erwin, TN 37650.
