The Yancey County Sheriff’s office along with Spruce Pine Police Department conducted a joint investigation into the sell of methamphetamine. A search warrant was issued for the residence on Fruit Tree Lane in Burnsville. As a result of the search at the residence, items that were seized include 52 grams of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and cash. The seized Methamphetamine has a street value of approximately $10,000.
Janina Darlene Branch, age 39, of Burnsville was charged with Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Maintain Place Controlled Substance, and Possession Drug Paraphernalia.
Bo Odell Branch, age 40 of Burnsville was charged with Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Maintain Place Controlled Substance, and Possession Drug Paraphernalia.
Both subjects are being held in the Yancey County Detention Center each under a $50,000 bond
