Jimmie Dillard ‘JD’ Lowery, age 74, of Clark Street in Marion, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at Brian Center Health & Rehab in Spruce Pine.
Born on March 4, 1948 in Swain County, he was the son of the late Thurman ‘Bud’ Lowery and the late Gladys Brendle Lowery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Darleen Lowery.
Jimmie loved Bluegrass music and he enjoyed playing the Dobro.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister; Wanda Styles of Spruce Pine and his brother; John Lowery of Marion; nieces and nephews.
