Zula Mae Wheeler Woody, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24th, 2022 at her home. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Allie Fox Wheeler. She was also preceded in death by husband, Justice “JC” Woody; her sister, Nora Bell Brown and a brother, Isaac Wheeler. Zula attended West Burnsville Church of God. She enjoyed gardening and fellowshipping with her church family. She loved her family dearly.
Surviving is her son, William Woody of Burnsville. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
No services are planned at this time.
