The WAMY board of directors has voted to establish an endowment through the North Carolina Community Foundation that will ensure sustainability for the organization for years to come. Endowment funds are established by a non-profit organization to provide an annual source of income. WAMY serves families and communities in Watauga, Avery, Mitchell and Yancey counties, providing support and tools needed to become self-sufficient.
