Yancey County Sheriff Shane Hilliard is partnering with Madison County Sheriff Buddy Harwood to deliver much needed supplies to Eastern Kentucky.
As the death toll continues to climb from the recent flooding the most recent truckload of supplies was driven to Perry County on Sunday, July 31, by Madison County Sheriff Buddy Harwood.
The Hearts with Hands group and churches around WNC are working together to respond.
Supplies can be dropped off at the Yancey County Sheriff’s Office.
Items needed:
Bottled water
Cleaning supplies
Diapers and formula
First aid supplies like band-aids and ibuprofen
Dog and Cat food
