The world lost a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Gail Isaacs, on August 26th, 2022. Gail battled cancer multiple times in her life, but it never stopped her from giving out the best hugs.
Gail is survived by two children: Joe Tucker and Tira Adelman; four grandchildren: Jennifer Wise, Santana Lanford, Garrett and Bryant Adelman; 2 great-grandchildren: Bradley Lanford and Arlin Wise; sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Gary Belk; daughter-in-law, Michelle Tucker, and son-in-law, Jerry Stout. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Claude and Ruth Clark Isaacs, and her beloved daughter, Misti Tucker Stout.
Gail loved George Strait, hiking, taking pictures, and anything sweet. She had a notorious sweet tooth and was known to often have a slice of cake for breakfast. She relished in making people laugh, and would often crack a joke at her own expense to elicit even the smallest of smiles.
While Gail worked many different jobs within her lifetime, none brought her as much joy or purpose as her position at Grandfather Mountain. Her colleagues knew her as a kind soul, always willing to cheer anyone up with a kind word, funny joke, or a hug.
Friends will be invited to say their final goodbyes to Gail at a Celebration of Life service in the coming weeks.
