Eudine “Judy” Omron

Eudine “Judy” Omron, age 83, of Bald Mountain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.  She spent her last days in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family, as she desired.

Judy will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.  Among her many great attributes were her kindness, elegance, humility and giving nature.

She was a native of Yancey County and graduated from Bee Log High School. Eudine was an avid reader and a life-long learner, who loved to travel. Sharp minded and perceptive, Judy kept up on current and world events.

She was a daughter of the late Elige and Martha (Edwards) Wilson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Omron, who passed away in 1995.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Debbie Stephen (Randy) of Nashville, GA, twins: Jannette Rodgers (Mike) of Colorado Springs, CO and Jim Omron of Waterford, MI, and John “Scott” Omron (Amy) of Royal Oak, MI and Chattanooga, TN; four siblings:  Lillian Tomberlin (David) of Burnsville, Elbert Wilson (Marilyn) of Burnsville, Allan Wilson (Donna) of Jacks Creek, Thomas Wilson (Susan) of Bald Mountain and like a sister, Edith Stewart of Charlotte;  seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, as well as, a host of extended family and friends.

Judy requested a private family memorial to be held at a later date.
