Pamela Lynn McCoury, age 59, of Bakersville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 6th, 2022 at her home. A native of Orange County, CA, she was a daughter of the late Burl and Arzella Renfro Willis. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Jason Hughes and a brother, Darrin Willis. Pamela was a simple, caring woman with a big and giving heart. She enjoyed watching western movies, comedies and talking.
Surviving is her daughter, Sabrina McCoury of Bakersville; partner, Edd Silver; sisters: Karen Chandler of Hardgravel and Debra Robertson and husband, Mike, of Double Island; brothers: Carmon Willis and wife, Geri, of Spruce Pine and Jerry Willis. Several cousins and friends and her cat, Blackie.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced.
