Kelly Denise Cordell, age 62, of Burnsville, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of Frank and Betty Young Cordell. She was preceded in death by a sister: Robin Hollifield; brother, Michael Cordell, as well as twin stillborn brothers.
Kelly was a hard worker who loved cooking and spent her career working in restaurants and catering. She had a great sense of humor and had a love for music, animals and dream catchers.
Surviving in addition to her parents is a daughter, Casey Cordell (Adam Cole) of Burnsville; a son, Chance Hagan of Asheville; three grandchildren: Kayli, Camden and Addisun; three sisters: Tracy Siler, Crystal Hood (Christopher) and Karen Cordell, all of Asheville; and her three cats: Bella, Little Man and Binx. She is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
