The Yancey County Donor Resource Guide is now available online. This guide, in partnership with Yancey County Economic Development Commission, is provided to help individuals and organizations to find out more about nonprofit services in this area. The guide provides a listing of verified, local nonprofit organizations who are actively receiving donations. The guide, which can be found on the yanceyedc.org website, is divided into categories of interest such as, animal organizations, art, children’s services, emergency services, environmental, housing, legal aid etc. The guide provides a place for potential donors to go and also a place for people to find out what services are available. The guide is open ended and submissions of organizations for consideration for inclusion are encouraged.
