Dwayne “Hollywood” Lee Wilson

Dwayne “Hollywood” Lee Wilson, age 62 of Burnsville, went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022.

A native of Yancey County, he was the son of Johnnie Wilson Jr. and late wife, Barbara Wacker Wilson.

Dwayne was a veteran of the 82nd Airborne division in the Army where he proudly served his country.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Dee Wilson Jr. and wife, Beth; daughters: Kelly Hill, and Shaughn Dumire and husband, Dustin; sister, Kimberly Wilson Banks; half-brother, Dwayne Crump; nieces: Nateara Allen and Tasha Metcalf and husband, David; nephew, Noah Banks; grandchildren: Christopher Hamrick and wife Vea, Timothy Wilson, Brayden Wilson, Tyler Wolfe, Trent Hill, Tobey Hill, Jered Petty, Jaxon Hill, Maia Berger, Averie Berger, Zoie Berger, and Rylee Dumire; as well as a special aunt, Judy Ledford and husband, Stanley; and a special uncle, Chuck Wacker.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home, on Sunday, September 25th, 2022. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Reverend Randy Randolph will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home to assist the family and help with funeral expenses.
