Maude Hoyle, age 91, of the Estatoe Community, went home to be with the Lord and gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at the home of her daughter. A native of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Florence Willis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Millard Hoyle; two sons: Billy “Bo” Hoyle and Johnny Hoyle; her son-in-law, Butch Pittman and a great-granddaughter, Angelina Manuel.
Maude always put the love for her Lord first and formost, then her family who she loved spending time with. She has watched every episode of Gunsmoke there was. Maude was a member of Big Crabtree Baptist Church for most of her life and loved her church family.
Surviving are her sons: Butch Hoyle (Nancy) of Spruce Pine and Jimmy Hoyle (Jeanette) also of Spruce Pine; her daughters: Deborah Hoyle Pittman of Spruce Pine and Sherry English (Jimmy) also of Spruce Pine. Maude has 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 15 great, great-grandchildren. Several other extended family members also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1st at Big Crabtree Baptist Church. Rev. Dean Honeycutt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
