Gerald Ray Fulbright, age 46, of Hickory, unexpectedly entered into rest and peace on Saturday, November 12th, 2022. A native of Avery County, he was a son of the late Robert and Shirley Woody Fulbright. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Fulbright, Jr. Gerald enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, riding dirt bikes, ginseng hunting, galax hunting, gardening and flowers. He loved being in nature.
Surviving is his daughter, Megan Fulbright Taylor of Morganton; sister, Amy Reece and husband, Jonathan, of Hickory; niece, Kayla Leann Coffey of Granite Falls and a nephew, Donavan Grant Coffey and wife, Courtney, of Connelly Springs. Several other extended family members and friends also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 19th at Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church.
