Larry Edward Boone, age 76, of the Windom community, went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14th, 2022 at his residence. His father and mother, Deward Boone and Marie Styles Boone, precede Larry in death, as well as a brother, Steve Boone, and sisters, Janice Wilson and Rhonda Herranz.
Larry was a long-time member of Plum Branch Baptist Church and loved his church family. He was Past Master of the Masonic Lodge #717 in Burnsville. He retired from Verizon as an engineer after numerous years of service. Most important to him was his love for his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy Bowers Boone; a daughter, Tonya Styles and husband, Joel, of Windom; two grandchildren: Garrett Styles and wife, LynnAnn, of Newdale, and Landri Styles of Windom; one great-grandson, Finley Styles; a sister, Gail Whitener of Hickory; and a brother, Keith Boone of Bethlehem. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
