Swearing-In Ceremony for School Board and County Commissioners

The swearing-in ceremony for the new Yancey County Board of Education and the Yancey County Commissioners will be held Monday evening, December 5th, at 5:00 pm in the courtroom of the Yancey County Courthouse. Ronnie Randolph will be sworn in to join the Board of Education, replacing Jeanne Tyner. Wade Dahlberg retained his seat on the Yancey Board of Education and will be re-sworn in. Stacey Greene and Sandi Norton will take the oath for the Yancey County commissioners seats. Incumbent David Grindstaff  will be re-sworn in.
