Jennie Largent “Mama Jean” age 64 of Morganton passed away Sunday January 8, 2023, at the Autumn Care in Marion.
Born in Burke County she was the daughter of the late Inez Largent. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alexus Elizabeth Bass.
Mama Jean was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Morganton, she loved the Christian song “He Knows My Name” and absolutely loved Mickey Mouse.
Mama Jean leaves to cherish her memories her son, Tio Largent and wife Ashley, grandchildren, Adrian Pritchard, Shaquoia Inez Largent, and Tio Jordan Largent a uncle, Walter Teddy Largent and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor LaTrese Lyerly officiating at a later date.
