Claudia McMahan Treadway, age 47, of Burnsville, passed away Sunday, January 8th, 2023 at her home. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of Ronnie Dale McMahan and the late Avis Banks McMahan. Claudia loved scrap booking and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Ernie Treadway; father, Ronnie McMahan and step-mother, Glenda, of Burnsville; sister, Tennille McElrath of Raleigh; brother, Michael McElrath of Florida; sisters-in-law: Janet Ray and husband, Phillip, of Cane River, Melinda Peek and husband, Dennis, of Jacksonville, FL and Lisa Halker and husband, Gary, of Port Charlotte, FL; step-sons: Alexander Treadway of Radford, VA and Nathaniel Treadway and wife, Elina, of Rural Retreat, VA and her best friend, Jessica Yelton of Burnsville.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced.
