Dean Harrison Grant entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 9, 2023. He was born on August 31, 1965, in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late James M. and Milladene (Burnham) Grant.
In addition to his parents, he was also proceeded in death by his grandson, Charles Dean Hensley and father-in-law, James E Muse.
He and his family made their home in Marietta, GA. Dean loved spending time at the family farm in Burnsville, NC and hoped to eventually move there.
He had a successful 25-year career in wealth management, before leaving to follow his true calling. His passion was ministering to men and women battling addiction. He spent 10 years volunteering and working at Penfield Christian Homes. He was a member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Melany Grant; son, Harrison (Kellie) Grant of Hiram, GA; daughter, Bailey (Dave) Hensley of Marietta, GA; mother-in-law, Genene Bailey Muse of Macon, GA; and several siblings, nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held in Burnsville, NC.
