Faye Duncan Caudle

Faye Duncan Caudle, age 84, of Concord, NC, formerly of the Ledger community in Bakersville, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Five Oaks Nursing Home in Concord.

Born on February 21, 1938 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Carrie Sparks Duncan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters; Zella Mae Duncan Young, Betty Duncan Buchanan, and Dessie Duncan Peters; and an infant brother and sister; Charles and Peggy Sue Duncan.

Faye was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church and had a dual church membership at the Reedy Creek Baptist Church.

She was employed for over twenty years at Jordan Business Forms. She was a very independent person, a cancer survivor and was an immaculate housekeeper. She enjoyed NASCAR racing and like her father, she was a fan of the Washington Redskins. She also enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers and spending time with her family and particularly her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her son; Richard Caudle of Charlotte; her grandson; Justin Tyler Caudle of Austin, TX; her granddaughter; Candice Lowder of Albermarle, NC; her great grandson, Carter Lowder; her niece; Melinda Fry and husband, Kirby of Mooresville, NC; her nephew; Phillip Joey Buchanan and wife, Jonda of Locust, NC; other nieces and nephews; Dale and Becky Young, Kim and Russell Williams, Cindy Stirgill & Christie Petit, Brett and Gina Buchanan, Melissa and Jeremy Pearson, Jennifer and Chris Wilson, Kirby Shawn & Kirby Blake Fry, Sara, Riley, and Braylee Buchanan, Tyler and Emma Pearson; cousins Madison and Cole Watson and Chandler Sisson.

A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The funeral service will on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
