Bobby Jack McAllister, age 87, of Burnsville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 at the Yancey House.
A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Sleet and Gladys McDowell McAllister.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Greene McAllister, who passed away February 5th, 2022. Bobby Jack was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Higgins Memorial United Methodist Church and the Bald Creek Masonic Lodge #397 A.F. & A.M. Bobby Jack was a manager at Carolina Tire and sold cars in Yancey County for many years.
Surviving is his caregivers and cousins, Jim and Linda McDowell and special friends, Doug and Darrell Young.
No services are planned at this time.
