All I can say is thank goodness that no matter what the Mitchell County Commission has done in the past, good or bad, the ones on there now can at least agree to protecting We the People of Mitchell County by enacting a subdivision ordinance. It will keep crooks and frauds like that bunch with the Village of Penland a while back from committing fraud and cheating people with their land “deals.” Lots of those kind still around. Since when do “rights” include the right to cheat others?
