Personally, I can’t believe how low the property taxes are around here. In my opinion it’s part of the reason why we have so much riff raff making money over their shady land deals. Certainly I’d love to see people living in homes they’ve had through generations, poor folks and the elderly get a break, but all the developers should be having to support the county services they use while they make money on shady deals. That’s been the status quo around here, supporting the greedy people gobbling up land and reselling it. Yep, let’s change that!
