Commissioners are not responsible for the tax reappraisal, it is required by law. However they could, and in my opinion, should lower the tax rate to keep things more in line with what people have been paying. This needs to be done particularly in light of the poor economy and people who are already suffering from higher interest rates, groceries, gas etc.
