While I am a huge proponent of change I don’t think we’re going to get much change that matters by referring to “the people.” There are lots of people, from lots of backgrounds with lots of different interests. I’m tickled to death with the subdivision ordinance, but very concerned about what the county commission did when it resolved to make school board races partisan. Same people. We are definitely behind the curve as things move so fast around the country and the world. But looking for answers on conspiracy theory websites is not going to help that. The speed of information those websites depend upon is part of the problem, not part of any solution.
