Coming up this summer! Penland School of Craft will be offering creative, one- and two-week long day camps for kids ages 4 to 12, as well as teen workshops for ages 13 to 17 in June and July. Elementary and middle school aged kids can explore everything from creating woodland wonderlands, fairies, and all kinds of insects to clay, drawing, woodworking and sculpture. Teens can study screenprinting techniques in the Screen Out Loud! camp or take a deep dive in creative self-expression in Ceramic Fusion. All are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Gift certificates, payment plans and scholarships are available. Visit penland.org/local/summer-camp/ for details. If you have questions, contact Lisa at communityeducation@penland.org.
