The family of Tracy Hamilton McAuliffe invites friends and acquaintances to attend a casual memorial gathering on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 to celebrate her life. The gathering will be held at Higgins Methodist Church Family Life Center in Burnsville, NC from 1 – 3 p.m. The Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30 p.m. with brief remarks and a prayer by Gwen Harris, followed by music from friends Joel Robertson, Pete and Kim McWhirter, and Ron and Minnie Powell. Attendees can then visit with family and friends the remainder of the time.
Tracy, age 62, passed away on December 21st, 2022 at her home after being diagnosed with cancer in October. Tracy attended East Yancey High School and LaGrange College in Georgia. She was employed for the past 15 years by Yancey Graphics as a graphic artist.
Tracy was the daughter of Richard McAuliffe and Judy McAuliffe. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McAuliffe; sister, Mary Margaret Dellinger; and a brother, Patrick McAuliffe.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Judy McAuliffe of Burnsville; sister, Kathy McAuliffe Hogan of Chester, MD; brothers: Michael McAuliffe (Pam) of Summerville, SC, James McAuliffe (Mary) of Port Richey, FL, and Jeremiah McAuliffe (April) of Palm Harbor, FL.
