The Yancey County Republican Party Precinct Meetings and County Convention is scheduled for Saturday, March 4 at East Yancey Middle School. They will kick things off with a potluck breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by Precinct Meetings at 10:00 am and the County Convention at 10:30 am.
A suggested donation of $5 is requested to help cover Convention cost.
THE PURPOSE OF PRECINCT MEETINGS:
Please note that registration will be open at 8:30am. The Credentials Committee will be checking people in at the door. Only those registered as a Republican in Yancey County by January 31, 2023 will be permitted to participate in the Precinct Meetings and County Convention.
The agenda of the Precinct Meetings will include electing Precinct officers and electing delegates and alternates to the County Convention. Only those elected as delegates to the County Convention at the Precinct Meetings will be allowed to vote on matters at the County Convention.
