I agree with you 100% but don’t forget the other two counties(Avery and Mitchell).I am retired and I agree with you and retirees should not knock younger people out of work. Why did they retire? I believe that This is what is going to cause NO RETIREMENT for younger people coming on and there will be no Social Security and it will cause older workers to work till they die. They want to raise retirement age now-can’t you see what is happening? I see them at Walmart Recycle Center ,ETC-are they paying them less to cause them not to pay more wages for the younger worker? I would like to know. It is hard to make ends meet for all of us but I believe it’s the politicians fault that this is happening. The ones in Washington are to blame, be careful who you elect to represent you. The younger people are going to have to be the ones that cause CHANGE. From the locals to Washington, DC.
