Thriving in our mountains

I haven’t heard anyone blame anything happening, good or bad, in
Yancey or Mitchell Counties on Putin. Everyone I know understands that problems, challenges and opportunities can and should be faced locally. …though I do sometimes hear concerning rumblings about how “we” can’t do anything without pork from Raleigh. I certainly find that concerning. The only place I’ve found any delusional or manipulative comparisons of Yancey County and surrounding counties to Ukraine and national politicians is right here on this forum.
