Nancy L. Hudak, age 82, of Ormond Beach, Florida, went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at their Green Mountain home.
A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Louella Cook Osterberg. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Osterberg, and a son-in-law, Stewart Cole.
She was of the Catholic faith and organized a rosary society. She enjoyed sports, especially tennis and jazzercise. She learned about her Czechoslovakian heritage through her mother-in-law who taught her how to cook and bake. She also enjoyed sewing. Nancy cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, and continued passing on these traditions, teaching them about their Czech heritage through cooking and baking. She and her husband, Cyril, had a rare love that lasted from the time they became high school sweethearts until their final moments together.
Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Cyril Hudak; two daughters: Debbie Cole of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Jennifer Schedivy and husband, Dan, of Green Mountain; two sons: Danny Hudak of Ormond Beach, FL, and Randy Hudak and his wife, Linda, of Ormond Beach, FL; ten grandchildren: Ashley, Matthew, Scott, Danielle, Sara, Emily, Brittany, Sean, Justin and Nikki; four great-grandchildren; as well as one nephew, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be held later in the year in Ormond Beach, Florida and will be announced.
