So I have voted independent my whole life. However, my family are die hard Republicans. They have served this community their whole life by helping those around them become better individuals through both my parents line of work. I was raised with morals and values and still cling to those today. BUT, just because my values might not be the same as my parents in some instances, does not mean I will call them names or belittle them in anyway. This is their opinion but my opinion is just as important as theirs. The one thing that I want folks to understand is we can still act like grown adults and disagree. When people get on social media claiming certain individuals to be our savior etc and I step up and shot a rebuttal to their argument, that don’t mean I am being mean in any way and at the same time don’t give you the right to respond with name calling. It just means I dont agree. An that is OK!! The way I see it. The Democrat Party in our area is more apt to side with the minority vs the majority. To me that is compassion. Republicans, why aren’t you showing this very same montra? Compassion and Kindness always wins vs Hate and Bigotry. I want to see our area move out of the 19th century and progress. Pick up a book and read!! Stay off of peoples opinionated facebooks and using that as your news source and pick up your local paper! You will see that their is some lies to the stories you just read on facebook and how they dont match up to the truth. Beware of what you read, it’s not always true!!
