Congresswoman Virginia Foxx spent most of Thursday in Mitchell County visiting with constituents, fielding a few questions, recording a Community Closeup interview with Bruce Ikard and in general enjoying a beautiful day.
With redistricting Mitchell County was moved in to the 5th District. Representing Mitchell County is a new adventure for Foxx but she is no stranger to Mitchell County as she was the President of Mayland Community College from 1987 to 1994.
