Martha Lou Shelton Cashion, 54, of Yancey County passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Born June 20, 1968 in Yancey County, she was a daughter of Andy Shelton of Spruce Pine, NC and the late Martha Sprinkle Shelton. She was a graduate of Mountain Heritage High School. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by grandchildren, Aiden Garland, Jasmine Jordan, and baby Sams. In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Erica King and her partner, Mark Robinson, and Amanda King all of Green Mountain, NC; sisters, Mary Ann Ingle and her spouse, Bill Ingle, of Green Mountain, NC and Kim Hensley of Burnsville, NC; and grandchildren, Skyler, Shane, and Daniel Garland, Malachi Robinson, Ariel King, Josh Sams, and Bella Jordan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on April 29, 2023 at High Pastures Christian Retreat Center, 290 Kings Hwy, Burnsville, NC 28714 with Mark Robinson officiating.
