Margaret Ann Hensley McPeters, age 68, of the Low Gap Community, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 at Care Partners Solace Center. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Dollie Beaver Hensley. Margaret enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband, gardening and loved cooking. Her grandchildren were her life.
Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband of 50 years, James McPeters Sr.; daughters: Sabrina Autrey and husband, Michael and Connie Sue McPeters; sons: Randy McPeters and wife, Lacey and James McPeters Jr; all of Burnsville; grandchildren: Alyssa, Jacob, Gracie, Stormy, Emily, Lily, Andrew and Justin; four great-grandchildren; sister, Linda McDowell and husband, Jim, Richard Hensley and wife, Sharon and Robert Hensley and wife, Penny and a special niece, Jessica West.
