Patsy Ann Helms age 70 of Ledger passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023, at her home.
Born in Mitchell County she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth Stevens Briggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Buster Briggs.
Patsy worked for Taylor Togs and was a member of the Roanoke Island Baptist Church in Manteo, NC. She really loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of thirty-eight years Thomas Helms, Jr of the home, a daughter, Vicky Young and husband David of Bakersville, three grandchildren, Daniel, Serena and Ariel Young and four sisters, Rosie Andrade and husband Mike, Net Briggs, and Hazel Briggs and husband Silas all of Burnsville and Dolly Self and husband Jimmy of Blountville, TN.
A graveside service for Mrs. Helms will be held at 4:00 pm Friday April 28, 2023, in the Grindstaff Cemetery in Bakersville with the Rev. Chris Rathbone officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Webb Funeral Home 128 Roan Road Spruce Pine, NC 28777 to help with funeral expenses.
