It is with deep regret that we have to cancel this years event.
The forecast for this week Saturday is for Thunderstorms and heavy rain from Friday night through all of Saturday.
The forecast for the month is consistent rain every Saturday.
The wind will also be at or above 20mph which would also play havoc with tents and products.
We will be holding Christmas in October on the 7th of October weather permitting.
Any money paid up front will be refunded or can be put towards Christmas in October to secure your place.
We do not take this lightly and the amount of work and money we have put in we will never recoup. But we also cannot put on an event in adverse weather.
We will do what we can to make sure that people know the event is cancelled, but with Newspapers and other media we have already placed we cannot change. We will do whatever we can to make sure that people who would attend get advanced warning of the cancellation.
Please if possible advertise this cancellation on your media pages (Facebook, Emails, etc) to avoid disappointment for people who would be attending, giving them advanced notice rather than them turn up to an empty field in the rain.
