The third annual Yancey County 4-H Fishing Day will take place on Saturday, May 13th at Toe River Campground. Registration starts at 7:30am, with fishing beginning at 8:00am. The event concludes at 11:00am. This event is free and open to youth ages 15 and under, youth do not have to be a 4-H member or having a fishing license to participate. Awards will be given for the largest fish caught for each age category: 0-5, 6-9 and 10-15. We will have games, activities and prizes for the whole family!
