There have always been a variety of perspectives and takes on feminism, then and now. There is no one “modern feminism,” any more that there was only one back when women marched to get the vote. There are some people seen and heard more, of course, some not seen and heard much at all, and some seen and heard by some and not others. When anyone talks about “original intentions” I want to know, Whose original intentions as to to who else? There were lot of different original intentions by lots of different people who considered themselves “feminists” and there still are.
